Ricky Berelowitz

APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Ricky has a special interest in treating persistent and ongoing pain conditions, particularly in the back and neck. Having worked with a lot of complex presentations in his early years as a physiotherapist, Ricky decided to further his education and skills and completed his Masters, becoming an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in 2021.

Ricky uses an approach to managing pain called Cognitive Functional Therapy (CFT). This involves taking the time to delve deeper into your story to help identify the relevant contributing factors that influence your pain. Through exploring how emotions, thoughts, or beliefs can influence behaviour, Ricky can help provide a personalised treatment plan that aims to explain the cause of the pain and work with you to return to your valued activities.
